The SPOT shared page service provided by SPOT LLC allows any SPOT owner to broadcast selected SPOT messages, including Track Progress waypoints, to anyone they choose via a web link. SPOT Shared Page Mobile provides all of the power and features of browser based Shared Pages but optimized for use on your smartphone. Now you can view near realtime SPOT location information anytime on the go.
You do not need to be a SPOT owner to use SPOT Shared Page Mobile, anyone wanting to view a public SPOT Shared Page can use this application. SPOT Shared Page Mobile searches your inbox and emails for Shared page links automatically importing them into SPOT Mobile. All information viewed on SPOT shared pages is also available on SPOT Shared Page Mobile. Enhanced features include speed, distance and bearing between locations. Messages are also partitioned by day for easy viewing.

Search Inbox for Shared PagesSPOT Shared Page Mobile is able to search and locate Shared Page links sent by the SPOT system to your email address. Use the “Search Inbox” feature to find then import them into your list of managed pages. No need to remember the Shared Page Id or type it in – the work is done for you. What about Shared Page links not sent by the SPOT system but forwarded to by family or friends? Easy, SPOT Shared Page Mobile is able to import any Shared Page link sent to you in an email. Open up the email in the BlackBerry email tool then use the custom “Import SPOT Shared Page” option to import the Shared Page into your list of managed pages. |

Select any message to get detailed message information. Google Maps IntegrationSPOT Shared Page Mobile automatically detects if Google Maps is installed and uses it to display single GPS locations. If you choose to show all GPS locations on the page, SPOT Shared Page Mobile displays them directly in BlackBerry Maps. |
